The role
The incumbent will work in close collaboration with programme, operations and project teams to support the achievement of project objectives and organizational priorities.
What you'll do
- Provide technical advice and contribute to the implementation of technical activities related to the project.
- Provide managerial guidance and contribute to the overall implementation of the project’s work programme, including on economic and financial matters.
- Undertake research and analysis on relevant social, economic, and urban issues.
- Contribute to the planning and organization of advocacy campaigns, events, trainings, workshops, and knowledge products.
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and conferences organized by UN-Habitat and its partners.
- Prepare progress reports, reports to partners, internal reports, and other project documentation at different stages of implementation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related fields is required, or additional three (3) years of relevant experience beyond the requirement.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in themes related to economic data analysis in Brazil is required.
- Experience with economic indicators and official data is required.
- Experience with design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
- Good computer skills in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Web search engines is required.
