Program Officer, Native Self-Determination
The role
The Program Officer will play a central role in implementing the MacArthur Foundation’s Native Self-Determination strategy through grantmaking, community engagement, and relationship-building. The role involves managing a grant portfolio, fostering trust-based partnerships with Indigenous leaders, and contributing to field-informed frameworks that support Native-led solutions. The position requires deep expertise in Indigenous and American Indian affairs to advance community-defined outcomes and institutional capacity.
