The role
The Program Manager will support the Associate Director of Programs in delivering on strategy outcomes by liaising with grantee organizations, managing the grant-making process, and building strong partnerships.
What you'll do
- Support the Associate Director of Programs to deliver on strategy outcomes
- Liaise with grantees for proposal submission, grants processing, payments, reporting, and other related processes
- Build strong understanding of field and partnerships in grant selection processes
- Manage relationships with partners and geographic policy groups
- Contribute to the larger program strategy
- Process and oversee progress of consultant contracts
What it takes
- Multiple years’ experience in non-profit community, specifically in grantmaking organizations and foundations
- Relevant expertise in Middle East civil society ecosystem and history
- Post-graduate education relevant to area of work
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to build consensus with diverse audiences/stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic
