The role
The Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Program Coordinator to support water resources administration, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination for the District’s Groundwater Management Subdistricts.
What you'll do
- Support Subdistrict program operations, project coordination, and administrative workflows
- Assist with regulatory compliance, documentation, and preparation of reporting materials
- Gather, verify, and analyze water-use, metering, and hydrologic data
- Conduct field visits to collect data, verify metering information, and document site conditions
- Assist with budgeting support, fee calculations, and financial documentation
- Coordinate communication with producers, ditch companies, consultants, and partner agencies
