The role

The Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Program Coordinator to support water resources administration, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination for the District’s Groundwater Management Subdistricts.

What you'll do

  • Support Subdistrict program operations, project coordination, and administrative workflows
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, documentation, and preparation of reporting materials
  • Gather, verify, and analyze water-use, metering, and hydrologic data
  • Conduct field visits to collect data, verify metering information, and document site conditions
  • Assist with budgeting support, fee calculations, and financial documentation
  • Coordinate communication with producers, ditch companies, consultants, and partner agencies

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Science, Business, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working with water-use or hydrologic data
