The role
The Program Aide on-call serves as a versatile support staff member for Save the Children's Head Start programs, assisting with classroom activities, janitorial duties, and food service. This role involves direct interaction with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to foster their developmental growth in a safe and supportive environment. The incumbent acts as a substitute for various positions and ensures the maintenance of program standards, hygiene, and facility security.
