The role
Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Head Start of Carroll County is seeking a PRN Bus Driver - CDL - PRN ONLY to provide daily transportation for the participants of the Program and for the maintenance of the vehicle.
What you'll do
- Maintains an awareness of child safety and takes appropriate safety precautions
- Demonstrates respect and consideration in all conversations and interactions
- Safely and efficiently transports participants to and from the center daily
- Conducts a pre-trip vehicle inspection
- Maintains the gas tank capacity of the vehicle
- Cleans bus windows, mirrors, and interior, and cleans the exterior of the vehicle weekly
What it takes
- High School Diploma/GED and one year of experience driving or chauffeuring
- Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence
- Current MD Driver’s License or CDL-PS license
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. irregularly
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from the work site
- Must have or have the ability to become certified by Red Cross in First Aid within three months of employment
