The role
The incumbent will lead, supervise and carry out activities related to innovation and the implementation of the digital transformation strategy for UN Peacekeeping.
What you'll do
- Lead activities related to innovation and the implementation of the digital transformation strategy for UN Peacekeeping
- Coordinate work across DPO, peacekeeping missions, OICT and other stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality standards in outputs produced by teams under supervision
- Assist in preparing, updating, and implementing annual work plans and Digital Transformation Implementation Plan
- Recruit staff and manage performance evaluations
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s) in law, international relations, development studies, economics, public administration, programme management or related fields
- Minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in leading change management or innovative programmes, programme management or administration
- Experience managing complex projects and working on digital transformation in a UN entity or public organization is desirable
- Proficiency in English (UN Level III) and French (UN Level II) is required
