- At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination and development focused initiatives at national and international levels
- Experience in intergovernmental fora dealing with trade and development issues
- Experience in negotiations with Member States and private sectors is desirable
- Fluency in English, and either French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), or Russian
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
