Prairie Management Technician
The role
The Prairie Management Technician will participate in essential stewardship activities, including invasive species control, tree removal, and native prairie seed harvesting in the Upper Minnesota River Valley. This seasonal, full-time position involves working in diverse field conditions alongside both internal crews and partner agency staff to manage public and private lands. The role requires physical labor, equipment operation, and periodic leadership responsibilities within an 8-person crew environment. Technicians are expected to reside in provided on-site housing to facilitate effective collaboration and project management.
