The role
The Political Affairs Officer will review and monitor activities, assess trends, provide analysis, and maintain contacts with local authorities in Syria.

- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in political issues, international relations, law, diplomacy, disarmament, security, international development, conflict resolution or related areas
- Experience working on Middle East issues and Syria is desirable
- Experience working on mediation, dialogue or facilitation processes is desirable
- Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable
