The role

The Policy Lead, Global Regulatory Innovation Platform (GRIP) at the World Economic Forum will lead the development and execution of a new cross-cutting workstream to help shape the governance of transformative technologies, partnering with various technology initiatives and building a scalable model for regulatory innovation.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development and execution of a new frontier technology and regulatory innovation cross-cutting workstream within GRIP
  • Define the long-term strategic vision, priorities and roadmap
  • Serve as the primary liaison between GRIP and the Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation and industry teams
  • Build strong internal partnerships to create cohesive, cross-sector initiatives
  • Monitor global regulatory and technology trends to continuously evolve the portfolio
  • Lead the development of high-quality thought leadership, policy frameworks, reports, white papers, playbooks and other knowledge products

What it takes

  • 7-10+ years of experience at the intersection of technology, public policy, regulation or law
  • Advanced degree in public policy, law, economics, international relations, regulatory affairs or a related field
  • Proven track record in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects or platforms at the global or regional level
  • Strong understanding of frontier technologies and their governance implications
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
