The role

E3G is seeking a Policy Advisor to support its Climate Diplomacy and Geopolitics Programme in driving forward multilateral engagement work. The role involves supporting climate diplomacy in multilateral fora, preparing research, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating work across teams.

What you'll do

  • Support and build effective strategies to enable impactful climate diplomacy in multilateral fora
  • Prepare clear, accessible research and analysis to inform policy knowledge
  • Engagement across the climate and foreign policy communities
  • Monitor and provide astute assessments for key policy debates and developments
  • Coordinate relevant work across E3G to support strategic development
  • Engage with and help to convene key stakeholders in government, civil society, and the private sector

What it takes

  • High-quality degree and ideally a post graduate qualification in a relevant area
  • Experience and strong interest in multilateral institutions and UK foreign policy
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Track record of problem solving, research, and strategy development
  • Demonstrated ability to build new stakeholder relationships and partnerships
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
