The role

The organization is seeking a Policy Advisor or Senior Policy Advisor for clean energy in New Mexico to develop and advocate for policies that reduce the environmental impact of electricity production and accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy. What you'll do

  • Build relationships with utilities, regulators, and other energy stakeholders.
  • Prepare expert testimony and coordinate advocacy campaigns with the Government Affairs team.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to develop outreach strategies and messaging.

What it takes

  • At least 2 years of experience for Advisor; 5+ years for Senior role.
  • Experience in public utility regulation or clean energy technologies.
  • Background in economics, engineering, or environmental policy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
