The role
The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Myanmar Partner Advisor will complete the planning, monitoring and evaluation tasks for MCC partner organizations in Myanmar. They will be responsible to listen to the partners, develop strong relationships with partners and local people, write realistic plans based upon the partner’s capacity and vision, select tools and conduct the monitoring tasks, and organize the evaluations of the projects. The Partner Advisor will also conduct ongoing training for local partner staff in completing all these tasks.

- Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with partner organizations in Myanmar
- Develop and implement appropriate M&E tools and frameworks
- Ensure effective data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Support MCC and partner responses to natural disasters, conflict, or political crises
- Collect and curate partner stories, photos, interviews, and other media content
- Support the development and implementation of safeguarding and protection policies among MCC partners
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, Public Health, Conflict Transformation, Social Sciences, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with international NGOs
- 3+ months of experience living internationally
- Multicultural competence
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suites, as well as the use of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Strong teamwork and listening skills
