The role

The role involves representing and building relationships with donors and stakeholders in Brussels, focusing on donor engagement, advocacy, and partnership building for People in Need (PIN).

What you'll do

  • Develop engagement plans with relevant DGs
  • Direct engagement with representatives of relevant DGs
  • Build relationships with Brussels-based international organizations and INGOs, foundations, local authorities, and relevant platforms
  • Map and engage Global Gateway implementing partners
  • Identify entry points for PIN in investment-linked programmes
  • Position PIN as a delivery partner for CSO engagement programming

What it takes

  • Experience working for an INGO or donor agencies
  • Good command of tools such as MS Word, Excel, Confluence; knowledge of Power BI and MS Navision is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well under time pressure, manage multiple tasks, and work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent understanding of the European Commission as a donor
