The role

SOS MEDITERRANEE is seeking a Photographer/Videographer for a roster position to support visual content production onboard the Ocean Viking ship.

What you'll do

Proactively suggest and define specific audiovisual comms product to develop onboard
Capture image, audio, and video content in accordance with SOS MED guidelines and standards
Edit and upload audio and visual content captured during the rotation
Assist the Communication coordinator in collecting testimonies of rescue individuals
Carry-out daily post-production while maintaining comprehensive branding
Participate to lookout team to spot possible distress cases

What it takes

5 or more years of professional experience as a photographer or/and videographer
Previous experience in humanitarian sector and crisis management
Previous experience on a rescue ship
Fluent in English written and spoken
Good command of Italian or Arabic
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, including Excel, and related business and communication tools
