The role
Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette is hiring a Philanthropy Officer to build relationships and grow philanthropic support in the Mid-Willamette Valley, North Willamette Valley, and Washington County, Oregon. This is a full-time, hybrid position with a focus on major gift fundraising.
What you'll do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level and major gift prospects and donors
- Develop individualized strategies to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors
- Build relationships that grow major gifts of $10,000+ and other significant philanthropic commitments
- Meet regularly with donors and prospects throughout the region
- Represent PPCW at community, civic, philanthropic, and organizational events
- Support multi-year and capital fundraising campaigns through prospect development, donor engagement, and stewardship

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 4 years of professional major gift fundraising experience
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and successfully solicit philanthropic gifts
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
