The role

The Philanthropy Director will lead fundraising for Enterprise’s Mid-Atlantic Market and Enterprise Community Development, collaborating with program colleagues to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward philanthropic support from corporate, foundation, individual, and government partners.

What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Enterprise’s mission and strategic plan
  • Build confidence and rapport among External Affairs colleagues
  • Develop fundraising strategy for multiple Enterprise markets and programs
  • Work with the Director, Individual Giving and Philanthropy team
  • Identify, research, and manage relationships with local, regional, and national funders
  • Ensure CRM data is kept current and moves management activities are communicated to leadership

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum 6-8 years of fundraising experience
  • Track record in cultivating and securing 5- and 6-figure philanthropic gifts
