The role
The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking certified, experienced Personal Trainers for the Greater Waco YMCA. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-energy environment with beautiful facilities and a large membership base.
What you'll do
- Train and coach entry-level participants
- Manage and follow through with clients
- Build a client base from supplied clients and leads
- Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Uphold the YMCA’s core values
- Pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, background check, and sex offender check
What it takes
- Current PT certification from a nationally recognized provider
- Good customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of fitness and wellness
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to be certified within 30 days
- Friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, and cooperative attitude
