The role
The Mental Health Association is seeking Per Diem Mobile Crisis Outreach Responders for their 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team operating out of Hudson County, NJ. Responders will provide crisis response and de-escalation services to adults in non-life-threatening situations, with a focus on mental health and substance use crises.
What you'll do
- Provide crisis services to individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises
- Collaborate with Master’s Level Supervisor for additional services
- Support de-escalation and transportation to crisis stabilization centers
- Develop follow-up systems for community members
- Complete record keeping and documentation
- Attend regular meetings and trainings
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health-related field
- Two years post-bachelor’s professional experience
- Valid NJ driver’s license and good driving record
