The role
The People & Culture Officer will support various human resource functions in the Syria country program, including policy reviews, HR initiative development, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
What you'll do
- Participate in periodic reviews of HR policies and procedures
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the IRC HR Handbook
- Support employee interpretations and maintain compliance
- Handle leave requests and ensure accurate leave balance tracking
- Support the recruitment team in all field position recruitment processes
- Support the performance management system

- University studies in Human Resources, Business administration or related field
- At least two years of progressively responsible professional experience in Human Resources
- Professional experience with INGOs/NGOs and/or international experience
- Demonstrated skills in communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Validated ability to plan, organize, and work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office
