The role
The American Red Cross is seeking a Pediatric Healthcare Programs Senior Manager to serve as a subject matter expert for pediatric healthcare and EMS educational programs, ensuring content accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
What you'll do
- Oversee and serve as subject matter expert regarding technical/medical content developed for Training Services programs and curriculum's
- Ensure the developed content incorporates and is in compliance with the guidance from Scientific Advisory Council and other relevant standard setting groups and organizations
- Direct and create scientific and medical content, write and review scripts and provide applicable editing of created program materials
- Provide on-site subject matter expertise during development of program materials including photo and video shoots and production
- Analyze technical literature, write descriptive copy, and verify documentation
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to meet target launch dates

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Masters or Doctoral degree preferred
- Nursing experience required, active RN License preferred
- Specialty clinical certification preferred
- Strong writing and editing skills
