The role

Provide start-up and convening support for a technical cooperation on agrifood finance in Jamaica, including logistics, coordination, and tracking of deliverables and budget.

Prepare a start-up logistics plan and a counterpart contact list
Organize logistics of start-up meetings and small workshops
Support specialist consultants delivering at sessions
Record session decisions, questions, commitments, and follow-up actions
Support operation’s tracking across specialist contracts
Follow up on data access requests

What it takes

Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, agriculture, economics, communications, event or project management, or a related field
At least four years of relevant professional experience in Jamaica
Full professional proficiency in English
Demonstrated ability to arrange venues, catering, invitations, and materials
Demonstrated experience maintaining trackers, registers, or schedules
Working familiarity with Jamaican public sector counterparts
