The role
The Partnerships Officer will support IRC Syria in developing and managing effective, equitable and sustainable partnerships with local and national organizations and other relevant stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Support the planning and coordination of partnership, capacity-strengthening and other collaborative initiatives
- Follow IRC’s Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results System (PEERS)
- Support the organization and delivery of training, workshops, mentoring, coaching and peer-learning activities
- Contribute to documenting lessons learned, good practices and recommendations to inform future partnership and capacity-strengthening initiatives
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in partnership management, project coordination/management, capacity strengthening, stakeholder engagement, grants management or a related field
- Experience working with local and/or national organizations, civil society organizations and/or community-based organizations
- Experience conducting organizational or programmatic capacity assessments and supporting the development and implementation of capacity-strengthening plans
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder mapping, engagement and coordination
