The role
The Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the management, expansion, and stewardship of RLRH’s global employer and institutional partners network with the objective of increasing professional opportunities for graduates affected by forced displacement.
What you'll do
- Manage relationships with current and prospective employers and other refugee livelihoods actors.
- Lead the identification and cultivation of new employer placement hosts across Africa and globally.
- Provide employer partners with dedicated support to design and launch professional placements.
- Serve as the primary PPP focal point for partner universities and technical support organisations.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive partnership engagement plan.
- Contribute to the development of RLRH’s MEL portfolio.
What it takes
- Demonstrated experience working in partnership development, stakeholder management, and widening participation, ideally with a track record in the African context.
- Working familiarity with refugee professional advancement, economic inclusion, and access to higher education and/or employment.
- Experience in programme development and coordination to align project delivery with wider organisational goals.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of studies.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines. Ability to work independently, prioritise own workload, and work flexibly as part of a team.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and support senior institutional counterparts.
