The role

The Partnerships Analyst will support and contribute to the development of new projects, partnership development, resource mobilization, and the strategic positioning of UNOPS across the Multi-Country Office countries. What you'll do

  • Identify and assess potential project and business opportunities aligned with UNOPS' mandate, strategic priorities, and areas of comparative advantage.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Multi-Country Office's strategic positioning, partnership, and resource mobilization priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a structured overview of key partners, donor priorities, funding cycles, funding mechanisms, partnership modalities, and emerging funding opportunities.
  • Support the negotiation and refinement of project and partnership documentation within the scope of the role and in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.

What it takes

  • Masters degree or equivalent in international affairs, law, business administration, social sciences, economics, agriculture, environmental studies, development studies or another field relevant to international development assistance
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in partnership with a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working directly with internal and external partners, including Governments and international donors
  • Experience in professional proposal writing
