The role

The Partnership & Membership Coordinator will play a key role in strengthening and expanding the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations’ network, focusing on membership development, partnership building, and strategic support.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain membership criteria, processes and approaches
  • Strengthen and expand the Alliance network
  • Design and implement strategies for partnership and network development
  • Support the development of community-led approaches
  • Assess opportunities for regional network development
  • Coordinate Alliance members and support the planning and delivery of activities

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, human rights, development studies or another relevant field, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with additional relevant professional experience
  • At least five years’ relevant experience in partnership management, programme development, network coordination or organisational development, ideally within humanitarian, development or peacebuilding contexts
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing partnerships within membership organisations, civil society networks or multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors, including strategy development, stakeholder engagement, coordination and advocacy
  • Proven experience working with civil society organisations, international non-governmental organisations, United Nations agencies, donors or development partners, supported by excellent networking, mentoring and facilitation skills
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and a high standard of spoken and written English
