The role
The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Training Services First Aid & CPR Instructor to support training programs throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts, including the Greater Boston, Norwood, and Worcester areas.
What you'll do
- Delivers Red Cross Training Services courses within current certifications to businesses and community members
- Maintains, manages, and stores all assigned equipment
- Responsible for quality, consistency, and standardized delivery
- Adheres to the registration policy regarding unregistered students in Community classes
- Commits to a fixed availability schedule within the scheduling software, Skedulo
- Engages in regular communications with Instructor Manager
What it takes
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current certification to be an instructor in discipline is desired
- 1 year of related experience preferred
- Previous experience in education, adult training or service industry preferred
- Basic computer and email skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs
- Comfort and experience in using audio-visual technology
