The role
CAMBA is seeking a Part-time Residential Aide to conduct security rounds, maintain incident reports, and ensure the safety and security of clients in their Short Term Housing Program in Brooklyn, NY.
What you'll do
- Conduct at least 9 security rounds per shift
- Complete security and fire logs accurately daily
- Complete timely comprehensive and accurate incident reports for all incidents in the facility as they happened
- Attend at least one staff meeting quarterly
- Address all negative client behavior and report to supervisors
- Contact supervisors anytime there is a need to involve NYPD, EMS and/or FDNY
What it takes
- Good written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Security Guard Certificate preferred
