The role

The consultant will support Aruba through the assessment, planning, prioritization, and development of comprehensive Health National Adaptation Plans aligned with the WHO Operational Framework for Building Climate-Resilient Health Systems.

What you'll do

  • Review existing Climate and Health Country Profile and V&A outputs.
  • Conduct additional data collection and stakeholder consultations as required.
  • Develop the implementation strategies for operationalizing the HNAP.
  • Promote coordination and synergy with the NAP process.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of national professional experience in climate change and health, public health planning, environmental health, or related fields.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, health impact assessments, or adaptation planning processes.
