The role
The Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and community-minded individual to serve as their newly established Outreach & Communications Coordinator, leading and strengthening the District's public engagement and communications efforts.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic communication initiatives that increase public awareness, understanding, and participation in the District's conservation programs.
- Lead the District's communications program, including the website, social media platforms, digital and print publications, newsletters, photography, media relations, marketing campaigns, and other digital communication initiatives.
- Expand the District's reach by engaging both traditional and new audiences, building relationships with diverse communities, and promoting the District as a trusted resource for conservation education and stewardship.
- Monitor emerging communication trends, evaluate outreach effectiveness through performance metrics and analytics, and continually refine communication strategies to strengthen public engagement, enhance organizational visibility, and support the District's long-term conservation goals.
