The role
The Operations & Security Intern will support the day-to-day work of the Operations & Security team by helping keep things organized, on track, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on support role covering tasks like data management, documentation, follow-ups, and routine coordination, working closely with the team to build practical experience in operations and security support.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain online forms, surveys, and data collection tools
- Track and follow up on submissions from volunteers and participants
- Update spreadsheets and databases
- Support volunteer administration and onboarding processes
- Assist with planning and coordinating events, training, and meetings
- Support the formatting, proofreading, organization, and updating of security policies, guidelines, and SOPs
What it takes
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks and deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling information and documents
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an asset)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive) or Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online forms, and digital collaboration tools
