The role
The ICRC is seeking an Operations Room Officer to join the Security & Crisis Management Support (SCMS) Unit in Kyiv. The role involves ensuring effective communication, monitoring vehicle movements, and maintaining operational logs.
What you'll do
- Swiftly transmit and receive messages using telephone and satellite systems
- Monitor and document the movements of all ICRC field teams
- Conduct routine radio checks with ICRC staff
- Maintain a detailed station log of all operational occurrences within the ICRC
- Proficiently operate telecommunication equipment
- Promptly inform Management and the Operations Room Manager of any information or incidents
