The role
The Operations Manager will oversee the administration, logistics, and security of CESVI's operations in Myanmar, ensuring efficient and effective management of programs and procedures.
What you'll do
- Supervise the administration and application of CESVI internal procedures for the Country
- Ensure quarterly monitoring visits to the field offices for administrative and internal audit checks and compliance procedures
- Manage CESVI offices, goods, documentation, and procurement
- Supervise the monitoring of field operational offices
- Ensure compliance with CESVI HR Policy and Code of Conduct within his/her area of responsibility
- Guarantee the respect of CESVI Security Plan and other rules and regulations on security
What it takes
- Master’s degree in international relations, development studies, business administration, logistics, or related fields
- 6+ years of experience in operational, administrative, or logistics management within international NGOs
- Prior work in Myanmar/Southeast Asia or in complex/volatile humanitarian contexts
- Solid background in managing Logistics, Procurement, Finance/Admin, HR, and Security
- Proven experience with donor procedures (EU, UN, FAO, WFP, UNDP), ECHO, etc.) and audit/compliance checks
- Direct experience in implementing security protocols and managing local HR according to national labor laws
