The role
The On-Site Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Tax Credit community. Duties include cleaning common areas, maintaining grounds, and supporting the property's day-to-day operations.
What you'll do
- Cleans and maintains entry lobby
- Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices
- Cleans community bathrooms
- Cleans stairways and elevators
- Does cleaning of units
- Reports all maintenance repairs
- Sweeps and cleans parking lot
- Picks up trash from grounds
- Ensures garbage enclosures are picked up and cleaned
- Uses hose/pressure washer to clean walkways and buildings
- Changes all light bulbs in hallways and common areas
- Does minor work orders for residents and/or management
- Respects the confidentiality of resident information
