The role
Support the review of job profiles and prepare a classification report for the Subregional Office for North Africa (SRO-NA) Strategic Workforce Planning Initiative.
What you'll do
- Review existing job descriptions and compare them against current functions and organizational requirements
- Identify job descriptions that require revision or updating
- Draft revised job descriptions using the United Nations Master Standard and relevant Generic Job Profiles (GJPs) as reference
- Compile supporting documentation required for job evaluation and classification review
- Analyze the alignment of job profiles with the organizational structure and evolving functional requirements
What it takes
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management or a related field
- Experience in job classification, job evaluation, organizational design, or the review of job descriptions and terms of reference is desirable
- Familiarity with the United Nations Common System and its human resources policies and procedures is an advantage
