The role

CESVI is seeking an Oficial MEAL to implement monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems for an emergency response to the June 2026 earthquakes in Venezuela.

What you'll do

  • Support the design and implementation of the MEAL plan for the project
  • Ensure the quality of implemented activities, beneficiary selection criteria, and participant satisfaction
  • Implement and strengthen secure, accessible, and confidential feedback, complaint, and suggestion mechanisms
  • Conduct field monitoring visits and post-distribution monitoring
  • Ensure strict compliance with data protection, confidentiality, informed consent, and humanitarian principles

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, economics, international development, information management, social work, engineering, administration, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, or information management in humanitarian or development projects
  • Experience in emergency response, disaster response, collective shelters, post-distribution monitoring, or cash-based assistance is highly valued
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, dynamic tables, data cleaning)
  • Experience with digital data collection platforms (Kobo Toolbox, ODK)
  • Highly sensitive to social issues, able to work under pressure in crisis contexts, and immediately available for frequent field trips
