The role
The Humanitarian Access and Security Officer acts as the focal point for security in the designated area, supporting program teams in maintaining access for vulnerable communities. The role involves identifying security risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring organizational safety policies are understood and implemented by staff and partners. Additionally, the officer conducts risk assessments, facilitates security training, and manages emergency response protocols. The position requires field-based analysis and frequent travel to ensure the safety of operations and personnel.
