The role
The Officer, Digital Ecosystem leads the day-to-day execution of AFIYA’s social media activities, focusing on managing social media channels, creating content, and engaging young women in agrifood systems across Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal.
What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day scheduling, publishing and community management of AFIYA content
- Produce engaging social-first content
- Support paid and targeted social media activity
- Provide social media support before, during and after events
- Track and report on the performance of AFIYA social media content
- Identify opportunities to capture content from programme activities

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in social media management and content creation
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and online communities
- Experience working with young women in agrifood systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
