From the second year remuneration increases based on experience (previous and acquired) and the level of responsibility in the field. Private insurance coverage that includes medical coverage and hospital, temporary disability and life insurance. The organization also has an arranged medical evacuation if necessary. The expenses of stay in the land are covered: housing, basic services, cleaning and washing. Other expenses such as transportation, visas, transfer to the country of destination and Displacements in the field will also be covered by MSF. Per diem or monthly per diem: mainly to cover meals and small personal expenses.

The role

Médecins Sans Frontières en México A.C. is seeking an Obstetrician / Gynaecologist for international humanitarian missions to join their team in international projects with a minimum availability of 6 months.

What you'll do

  • Provide health care related to gynecology and obstetrics to patients
  • Ensure the implementation of MSF clinical policies, tools, guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with other medical colleagues for data collection and tool use
  • Supervise the HR associated processes
  • Supervise the maintenance and running of gynecological equipment and drug consumption
  • Plan and supervise the gynecological staff

What it takes

  • General Physician Degree
  • Final Specialization in Obstetrics/Gynecology
  • Minimum 2 years practicing as Obstetrician/Gynaecologist for a hospital developing multi-purpose activities
  • Desirable experience in obstetrics in emergency
  • Desirable work experience with MSF and other NGOs in developing countries
  • Essential: English (B2 or higher level), Spanish (C1 or higher level), Knowledge of French will be an asset
