The role
The Nurse will support the delivery of medical services to Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians. Working under the direct supervision of the Senior Health Officer, the Nurse will provide high-quality professional medical care in accordance with national and international laws and standards.
What you'll do
- Assess patients' conditions, initiate appropriate medical attention, and perform the full scope of duties expected of a registered nurse.
- Conduct triage and record vital signs to determine priority of care.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations in accordance with prescribed treatment plans and IRC/MOH protocols.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other basic clinical procedures as needed.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the clinic and provide appropriate first-line care.
