The role
Axios is seeking a New Business Development Partner to support continuity and revenue growth across Local markets while developing the next generation of Client Partners. This role involves building pipeline, generating net-new revenue, and providing temporary territory coverage.
What you'll do
- Build pipeline and generate net-new revenue across assigned Local territories
- Provide temporary territory and account coverage
- Prospect consistently through outbound outreach
- Partner with Sales Managers throughout the sales process
- Maintain assigned client relationships in good standing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Client Success, Marketing, and Editorial
What it takes
- 3-5+ years of sales, business development, or related client-facing experience
- Demonstrated success prospecting and building pipeline
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Highly organized with strong CRM discipline and attention to detail
