The role
The Network Director of Curriculum and Instruction: STEM is responsible for developing and implementing a rigorous, vertically-aligned K-12 STEM curriculum and supporting school-based leaders in its implementation.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage a rigorous, vertically-aligned K-12 STEM curriculum
- Collaborate with school-based leaders to design and facilitate high-quality professional development and coaching
- Analyze student data to assess the effectiveness of curricular design and implementation
- Lead working groups to innovate on the academic program
- Manage the STEM team within the Curriculum and Instruction Team
What it takes
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Education, Teaching, or School Leadership, preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of education experience with a record of achievement for all children
- Minimum of 3 years of school or network leadership experience
- Extensive experience in the selection, design, and development of STEM curriculum and assessment
- A successful record of developing teacher and leader knowledge, skill, and productive mindsets around teaching and learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and an ability to connect and build relationships with a diverse group of people
