The role

The Network Coordinator Cameroon position involves coordinating and facilitating the Cameroon Faith in Freedom partner network, supporting implementation of the Cameroon strategy, and promoting meaningful participation and leadership of marginalized groups.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and facilitate the Cameroon Faith in Freedom partner network
  • Support implementation of the Cameroon strategy
  • Promote the meaningful participation and leadership of women, youth, religious minorities and other marginalised groups
  • Promote conflict-sensitive, power-aware and Do No Harm approaches
  • Serve as the bridge between Cameroon and the team in The Netherlands
  • Coordinate the Cameroon advocacy agenda

What it takes

  • Relevant academic background and professional experience in international development, human rights, peacebuilding, governance or a related field
  • Good understanding of FoRB and of Cameroon’s religious, social and political context
  • Experience working with religious actors, faith-based organisations and/or diverse civil society actors
  • Experience coordinating partner networks, multi-stakeholder processes or consortium programmes
  • Experience with programme coordination, planning and reporting, monitoring, evaluation, learning processes and familiarity with advocacy
  • Commitment to gender equality, inclusion, conflict sensitivity, Do No Harm and safeguarding
