What you'll do

  • Provide specialized technical expertise for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring water-related and ecosystem restoration interventions.
  • Oversee engineering activities aimed at reducing soil erosion and flood risks.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and land-use planning processes.
  • Prepare technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Provide technical oversight for water harvesting, irrigation, and watershed management infrastructure.

  • Proven expertise in the area of WASH including surveys, programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, data management and coordination.
  • Knowledge and understanding of water and wastewater hydraulics and physical, chemical and biological properties; solid waste management practices, vector control and hygiene promotion/awareness raising strategies.
  • Field level experience in leading transitions to local/national service providers in either WASH or energy, including the development of transition plans and budgets, stakeholder coordination and the development of users’ associations/committees/cooperatives.
