The role
The National Partnerships Officer supports New Incentives’ national partnership and stakeholder engagement efforts, helping to build and sustain durable working relationships with government institutions, development partners, and other stakeholders across Nigeria’s routine immunization ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with government officials, development partners, INGOs, NGOs, and other stakeholders
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and technical working groups
- Represent New Incentives in technical and program-level engagements
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities
- Maintain an up-to-date stakeholder database and contact map
- Document key interactions and follow-up actions
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, health sciences, social sciences, development studies, business administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ substantive experience in routine immunization, primary healthcare, public health, health systems strengthening, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience working with or alongside NPHCDA, particularly the Routine Immunization Working Group
- Strong working knowledge of Nigeria’s routine immunization system and of demand creation for routine immunization
- Experience within, or working closely with, an international NGO, development organization, or government institution
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships and to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
