The role

The National Partnerships Consultant will lead on cultivating, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships across government entities, civil society, academia, and the national private sector in Libya.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary liaison between UNFPA and national counterparts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government entities, civil society, academia, and private sector
  • Support the development of tailored agreements with government institutions
  • Conduct political, social, and economic analysis to identify partnership opportunities
  • Provide regular briefings on partnership dynamics

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Medical sciences, public health, social sciences, business administration, international development, political science, communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public sector, programme implementation, or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience engaging government institutions and/or private-sector actors
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and diplomacy skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
