The role
The National Individual Consultant will provide technical support for the development, harmonization, validation, and integration of Newborn Health commodity reporting tools within the National Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS) in Nigeria.
What you'll do
- Conduct a desk review of existing NHLMIS tools and reporting systems
- Support the development of standardized newborn health logistics reporting tools
- Facilitate technical review meetings and validation workshops
- Develop training materials and job aids
- Develop a phased implementation roadmap for nationwide rollout
What it takes
- Postgraduate degree in public health, pharmacy, health informatics, supply chain management, health information systems, statistics, or related field
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in health supply chain management, logistics management information systems, health information systems, or related field
- Experience coordinating or managing national programmes on RMNCAEH, SRHR, maternal, newborn and or child health, family planning, and or humanitarian supply chain
- Experience working with the National Health Logistics Management Information Systems (NHLMIS), District Health Information Systems (DHIS2), health commodity reporting systems, or national health information systems
- Experience facilitating national stakeholder consultations and technical working groups, including capacity building workshops
- Experience working with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, UN agencies, development partners, and or NGOs
