The role

UNICEF Lesotho is seeking an experienced consultant to support the Ministry of Health in conducting a high-level Primary Health Care (PHC) dialogue. The consultant will facilitate discussions that lead to clear priorities, commitments, and a practical roadmap for enhancing PHC performance in Lesotho.

What you'll do

  • Support the preparation and orientation of selected panelists for the PHC High-Level Dialogue Meeting
  • Review the 2025/26 PHC Performance Monitoring Report and identify key findings, priority issues, and strategic messages
  • Develop and/or refine focused, strategic, and evidence-informed questions to guide the panel discussion
  • Facilitate the PHC High-Level Dialogue Meeting using an inclusive, engaging, and results-oriented approach
  • Document key decisions, commitments, recommendations, and action points arising from the dialogue
  • Support the development of a practical roadmap for implementation and follow-up of agreed PHC actions

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in public health or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in public health or health policy
  • Strong knowledge of Primary Health Care and health systems
  • Experience in facilitating high-level policy dialogues
  • Ability to translate technical reports into strategic messages
  • Fluency in English
