UNICEF Lesotho is seeking an experienced consultant to support the Ministry of Health in conducting a high-level Primary Health Care (PHC) dialogue. The consultant will facilitate discussions that lead to clear priorities, commitments, and a practical roadmap for enhancing PHC performance in Lesotho.
What you'll do
- Support the preparation and orientation of selected panelists for the PHC High-Level Dialogue Meeting
- Review the 2025/26 PHC Performance Monitoring Report and identify key findings, priority issues, and strategic messages
- Develop and/or refine focused, strategic, and evidence-informed questions to guide the panel discussion
- Facilitate the PHC High-Level Dialogue Meeting using an inclusive, engaging, and results-oriented approach
- Document key decisions, commitments, recommendations, and action points arising from the dialogue
- Support the development of a practical roadmap for implementation and follow-up of agreed PHC actions
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in public health or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in public health or health policy
- Strong knowledge of Primary Health Care and health systems
- Experience in facilitating high-level policy dialogues
- Ability to translate technical reports into strategic messages
- Fluency in English
