The role
The National Consultant will provide coordination, technical and analytical support to Somalia’s WTO accession process.
What you'll do
- Provide responsive day-to-day technical, analytical, organizational and administrative assistance
- Support the preparation of accession-related documentation
- Serve as the principal operational liaison between the Office of the Chief Negotiator and ITC project team
- Support meetings, missions, consultations and capacity-building activities
- Coordinate with other development partners when requested by the Chief Negotiator

- Advanced university degree in law, international trade, or related field
- At least two years of professional experience in international trade policy or a related area
- Experience supporting WTO accession processes
- Ability to work effectively under the leadership of senior government officials
- Demonstrated knowledge of WTO accession procedures and documentation
